Why use a generated block pattern?
A round arch needs the curve to line up exactly with two straight legs, which is easy to get wrong by eye. This tool keeps the wall thickness constant all the way around the curve and into the legs.
Set the passage opening width and leg height.
Set how tall the curved top should rise.

Frequently asked questions
Is the arch generator a front view or a top-down plan?
It is a front-facing wall pattern, like the ellipse and circle tools. Build it as a vertical wall with the opening as the passage.
Why is there no filled mode?
An arch is a passage by definition, so wall thickness alone controls how solid the structure looks. Set a high thickness for a heavier gate.
Can I use this for bridges?
Yes. A wide, low arch (large opening width, small arch rise) works well as a bridge support.
